Hi, I’m Miss Pao
I’m Paola, an early childhood educator, musician, and the founder of NIDO Petit Atelier.
After five years in early childhood classrooms, I created NIDO to bring creative, hands-on experiences into the place little ones know best: home.
My work brings together art, sensory play, music, and stories in English and Spanish. As both an educator and a musician, I love finding ways to connect through a familiar song, an imaginative story, or the excitement of discovering something together.
I take time to get to know each child—their interests, their rhythm, and what helps them feel comfortable. That connection is at the heart of every NIDO experience.
“Miss Pao has an extraordinary ability to make every child feel seen and important. She is patient, nurturing, attentive, and incredibly loving, while also encouraging independence, confidence, curiosity, and kindness.”

Our Philosophy
At NIDO, we believe little ones learn through play, connection, and the freedom to explore. Our experiences invite children to use their senses, try out ideas, and discover at their own pace.
Our approach is child-led and teacher-guided. Each session begins with a thoughtful plan, with room to follow the children’s interests and adapt to what unfolds along the way.
Room to Explore
Pouring, mixing, painting, and experimenting give children opportunities to make choices and follow their curiosity. We value the experience of creating, with no expectation that everyone’s work should look the same.
Connection Comes First
Feeling safe and understood gives children space to explore. We make time for warm interactions, familiar routines, and gentle encouragement, allowing each child to observe, join in, and try something new when they feel ready.
