What ages are your ateliers for?
NIDO welcomes little ones ages 1–5. Materials and activities are chosen with their age and stage in mind, with room for each child to explore at their own pace.
Where do sessions take place?
We bring our ateliers to your home in Miami, indoors or in a suitable outdoor space. Share your neighborhood when inquiring so we can confirm availability in your area.
What’s the difference between Private 1:1 and a Petit Pod?
Private 1:1 gives your child individual time to explore alongside Miss Pao. A Petit Pod brings together 2–4 children to create, play, and discover together—lovely for siblings or a few friends.
What happens during a session?
Each week brings a thoughtfully planned theme, explored through a mix of art, sensory play, music, stories, and imaginative play in English and Spanish. Activities vary, with room to adjust to the children’s interests and pace.
Do I need to provide materials or prepare anything?
We bring all activity materials, including smocks! We simply ask for a clear space to set up and access to water for cleanup. Please let us know about any allergies or anything helpful to know about your child beforehand.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes that can get messy! We provide smocks, but paint, water, and other materials can still find their way onto clothing. A change of clothes is always helpful, too.
Does my child need to speak English and Spanish?
No! Little ones are welcome whether they’re familiar with one language, both, or neither. English and Spanish are woven naturally into play through songs, stories, and conversation.
What if my child takes time to warm up?
There’s no rush. Some children jump right in, while others prefer to watch or stay close to a parent first. We take time to build a connection and gently invite them to participate when they feel ready.
Can siblings or friends join?
Yes! Our Petit Pods welcome 2–4 children. Please include everyone’s ages when booking so we can prepare suitable activities and enough materials for the group.
